Grub Drop (“we,” “us”) operates https://www.grubdrop.app and the Grub Drop app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is written so you — and US texting carriers — can see how we handle mobile numbers.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, and a password or sign-in ticket.
• Delivery address and map coordinates, so we know if a drop can come to your door.
• Mobile number, only if you type it in and opt in to texts — or if you verify a phone on your account.
• Tickets, orders, and payment records processed by Stripe.
• Device tokens if you turn on app notifications.

How we use it

We use this information to run Grub Drop: sign you in, show nearby drops, take tickets, deliver food, pay restaurants and drivers, and send the alerts you asked for.

SMS and mobile information

If you opt in to Grub Drop Alerts, we use your mobile number to text you when a neighborhood food drop is live near the address you gave us.

• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• We do not sell mobile numbers. We do not share them with affiliates or other companies so they can market to you.
• We use Twilio as a service provider to send texts on our behalf. Twilio only processes messages for Grub Drop; it does not get to use your number for its own marketing.
• Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 8 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn texts off in Profile.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Sharing

We share information with vendors who help us operate the service — for example Neon (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Apple (if you use Sign in with Apple), and Twilio (SMS if you opted in). They only get what they need to do that job.

We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect people using Grub Drop.

Your choices

You can update your name, address, and text-alert setting in Profile. You can sign out, delete your account by emailing us, and reply STOP to SMS at any time.
