How you opt in

This page is public. You do not need to log in, verify an email, or save an address to record consent. You can also opt in as the first step of join at /join, or later in Profile in the app or on the web. When a drop is live at your saved address, we text a link to https://www.grubdrop.app/o/… — tap it to pay in the browser, or in the app if you have it.

End users opt in on the public page https://www.grubdrop.app/sms (no account or login required) and as the first step of https://www.grubdrop.app/join. They enter a US mobile number and check an unchecked box. The consent language on that checkbox is: "I agree to receive recurring informational text messages from Grub Drop about neighborhood food drops near the address I provide. Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. What the messages say

Grub Drop sends recurring informational text messages to people who opted in so they know when a neighborhood food drop (restaurant food on a truck) is live near the address they gave us. Messages tell them the drop is in their area, how to get a ticket, and basic timing. We only text people who consented. Recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help.
